Over-Riding Constraints Report

Pursuant to its mandate under the WESM Rules and Section 5.5 of the Market Surveillance Manual, the Market Surveillance Committee (MSC) reviews the over-riding constraints imposed by the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines - System Operator (NGCP-SO) on generators.

 

In line with this, the MSC, with the assistance of the Market Assessment Group (MAG), prepares the monthly monitoring report on over-riding constraints. This report provides the summary of the incidents with over-riding constraints imposed by the NGCP-SO as well as the N-1 contingency requirements for transmission lines and transformers.
