ERC Order & Notice of Public/Virtual Hearing dtd 19 Sept 2024 (MF2025-2027)

Notice is hereby given that on 05 September 2024, the Independent Electricity Market Operator of the Philippines, Inc. (IEMOP) and Philippine Electricity Market Corporation (PEMC) filed the instant Joint Application dated 23 July 2024 in the case titled, “In the Matter of the Application for Approval of the Level of Market Fees for the Calendar Years 2025 to 2027 for the Philippine Wholesale Electricity Spot Market (WESM),” docketed as ERC Case No. 2024-109 RC.

The instant Joint Application was filed with the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) seeking its approval of the level of Market Fees for Calendar Years 2025 to 2027 for the Philippine Wholesale Electricity Spot Market.

In the Order and Notice of Public/Virtual Hearing, both dated 19 September 2024, the ERC scheduled the instant Joint Application for hearing on the following dates:

As stated in the Notice of Public/Virtual Hearing, any interested stakeholder may submit its comments and/or clarifications at least one (1) calendar day prior to the scheduled initial hearing via electronic mail (e-mail) at docket@erc.ph, and copy furnish the Legal Service through legal@erc.ph.

Moreover, any person who has an interest in the subject matter may become a party by filing with the ERC via electronic mail at docket@erc.ph, and copy furnishing the Legal Service through legal@erc.ph, a verified Petition to Intervene at least five (5) calendar days prior to the date of the initial hearing, subject to the requirements under Rule 9 of the ERC Revised Rules of Practice and Procedure.

Likewise, all other persons who may want their views known to the ERC with respect to the subject matter of the case may file via electronic mail at docket@erc.ph, and copy furnish the Legal Service through legal@erc.ph, their Opposition or Comment at least five (5) calendar days prior to the date of the initial hearing, subject to the requirements under Rule 9 of the ERC Revised Rules of Practice and Procedure.

A copy of the Joint Application may be accessed at the ERC official website at www.erc.gov.ph. You may also e-mail your request for a copy of the same to the PEMC Legal Department at legal@wesm.ph.
